ALMOST HEAVEN:
SONGS OF JOHN DENVER!
The Baltimore Sun
“James Bock brings a disarming charm to the central role. He makes it easy to believe in the optimistic worldview behind Denver’s songs – the sense that something good is possible out there if we would only save and savor it.“
“Travis Artz stands out as a moody military veteran.”
“Brit Herring is a dynamic presence; he does a mean version of Phil Ochs’ ‘Draft Dodger Rag.'”
“Austin Wayne Price shines in a sweetly phrased ‘This Old Guitar.'”
DC Theatre Scene
“By all means head to Annapolis and see Infinity Theatre Company’s production of the new jukebox musical, ALMOST HEAVEN.”
“The ensemble is versatile, energetic and talented.”
“[Sarah] Goldstein…has great presence and a boffo contralto belt…”
DC Metro Theatre Arts
“James Bock is perfectly cast in the major role.”
“A smashing success…since not only did the entire cast sing beautifully and with many gorgeous harmonies, but they were also exceptional musicians.”
TheatreBloom
“Sensational show filled to the very brim with heart and soul that triumphantly calls through the hills of Colorado all the way down to the Chesapeake Bay.”
“[Emily] Woods…has a sweet nightingale voice for her duets as well as her solos.”
“[Alan] Ostroff succeeds in directing a remarkable evening of soulful folk music with sensational talent delivering the heartfelt reality of this country boy’s life.”
“A more resplendent musical experience will be difficult to find in the Annapolis area this summer.”
